The Why!
Being in a position of inactivity can be frustrating and often leads to participation in self-destructive activities that negatively impact one’s life. Overindulging in these vices can lead to impaired judgment, brokenness, unplanned pregnancies, incarceration, or in many cases death/suicide.
Lava was placed on my heart years ago when I recognized the needs of others in the community. There was a time in my life when I needed a LAVA. I felt the weight of life pulling me into a dark pit that I could not find my way out of, and like many of us who have experienced these dry places in life, I needed a helping hand, I needed direction and resources, I needed help. I know what it’s like to feel hopeless, lost, and stagnant.
Out of a passion to help people LAVA was conceived and we want to assist in the transformation of lives. We are equipping our participants with tools that will help navigate and propel them into their purpose, to be all they were designed to become in life!
